MY STORY
I was born in Bogotá on May 6, 1970. As a little girl, I fell in love with clay while playing in a creek that ran through my childhood friend's ranch. I was happiest when listening to the song of the water, as we withdrew from the world amid the shapes we created with the clay from its banks.
I became acquainted with ceramics at the University of the Andes in 1988, while completing my Bachelor's degree in Art. Carol Young was the professor who inspired me most to follow this path. Ever since, clay has been my preferred medium of artistic exploration.
